A name or place entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its response. Cass County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related exchange. It remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Cass County Criminal History does not keep, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes reference material about the Cass County Sheriff, the 17th Judicial Circuit, MSHP's Central Repository, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not assembled into a record about another person or into a consumer report. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply the search tools. Their privacy terms, retention periods, and sharing rules govern information entered there. Those practices are not controlled by Cass County Criminal History, so review the provider's policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Cass County offices, Missouri Case.net, MSHP, legal resources, or outside services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
